Celebrating 10 Years of Serving & Learning: Multiplying a Legacy of Hope
October 19, 2017
The work you support through Just Hope International serves widows and orphans, survivors of abuse and neglect, trafficking, war and genocide, and unspeakable human atrocities. As we say, Just Hope serves remarkable people.
One of the biggest challenges we face in our work is the mindset of the people we serve. When we first meet people who are facing some of the world’s most difficult living conditions, their mindset is often one of hopelessness. Based on their experiences to that point, they often have reason to believe “nothing will ever change.”
However, through the efforts of Just Hope International, remarkable people — once hopeless — are now on a journey from surviving to thriving.
Survivors of tragic events and atrocities are hungry for legitimate business opportunity and training in order to provide for themselves and their families.
This is Just Hope’s focus. Upon a foundation of physical, mental and spiritual healing, we believe business presents the greatest opportunity not only for sustained provision, but also for disrupting and preventing the cycle of poverty and charitable dependency. We call this way of serving others making an “impact that lasts.”
It’s not easy, but it’s simple. Just Hope’s responsibility is to connect people like you with opportunities to meet incredible need in the most effective and efficient way possible.
So, how are we doing? Our supporters have made it possible for over 2,000 people to be served in 2017 alone (with an average household of seven dependents, these 2,000 empowered people extend the impact to roughly 13,000 others). Just Hope serves them not with a short-term fix, but with an impact that can last for generations. All of this is done for $250 per person. We work very hard to make sure your donations are invested effectively and efficiently.
Reflecting on the Past, Planning for the Future
We gathered recently to celebrate and reflect on the past 10 years. If you are interested, please take a moment to watch a quick recap of the event below and explore our 10-year timeline.

We put together a timeline to remind ourselves and others of the incredible stories of hope and transformation that God has graciously allowed us to take part in. Click here to view the timeline.
We are so grateful to the many people who joined us to celebrate and to those who support Just Hope. The work we do wouldn’t be possible without you.
A Legacy Multiplied
What’s the best way to make an impact that lasts? Start by considering your own life. How did you learn to provide for yourself, have hope for tomorrow and grow to have the ability to be charitable? Along the way, someone took notice of you, viewed you in the proper light and invested in you. You and I didn’t arrive where we are today by handouts.
Who invested in you? We invite you to make your contribution to Just Hope in honor or memory of the person who invested in you. Their investment fueled your growth, and your investment fuels a lasting impact on families and communities that have been without hope. This is legacy multiplied.
